ALUMINUM EQUIPMENT TRAILER
The Aluminum Equipment trailer is a lightweight, low maintenance alternative to the steel version. It is available with 9900lb or 14000lb GVWR. As a lighter weight trailer, it offers a slightly higher payload capacity than steel. It is a great choice for maximizing your load. Upgrade to an aluminum extruded deck and outriggers to make it the ultimate Aluminum Equipment trailer.
If you like a traditional equipment trailer with stand up ramps, but like the lighter weight, good looks, and corrosion resistance of aluminum, this is your trailer. This is a heavy duty aluminum equipment trailer. In fact, this trailer has the same mainframe as the 14000# GVW model, making it well equipped for a 10K GVW trailer. A very beefy 8" channel frame, coupled with a 9990# axle upgrade, standard aluminum wheels, very easy to remove fenders, 7000# drop leg jack, aluminum channel crossmembers (not angle) etc., make this worthy of your consideration. While we wouldn't typically recommend a customer to buy aluminum to shed weight in order to be able to payload more, we think this unit could handle it (see 8" frame note above!). Aluminum tends to weight about 70% of it's steel counterpart, shedding about 700# or so of empty weight. The trailer is equipped with a rubrail and stake pockets giving a virtually an unlimited number of tie-down locations. We like the way the slimline lights and new bullet LED lights give the trailer a tidy, sleek look. The removable fenders are well engineered for a quick and easy, yet secure deployment. The 9990# model weighs in about 2000#, leaving a net legal payload of approximately 8000# + tongue weight. The ideal tow vehicle would be a half or three quarter ton truck, but could also be pulled by a handful of other vehicles depending on the load being hauled. If you are looking to haul anything from cars, light trucks, small to mid size equipment, compact tractors, etc, give it a look, as this should be a good fit. ALUMINUM WHEELS ARE NOW A STANDARD FEATURE ON THIS MODEL!
